Namibia is a well-known travel destination in Southern Africa but also for popular for Europeans. However, the average age of the visitors travelling to Namibia is over fifty. The aim of our project was to create a video series to show that Namibia has high standards, its modern and a great for a Namibia road trip.
With a small and selective team of content creators, we headed to Namibia for a 14-day road trip filming and producing video content in real time together with daily social media updates via Facebook, Instagram & Twitter plus our 30-second trailer video was produced & distributed before we left the country to keep our audience engaged.

Why A Roadtrip?
A #NamibiaRoadTrip adventure would give us a real feeling of what this country is about and allow us the time we needed to create content that would really show a different side of the country. Having a full equipped 4×4 also really helped as we could get off the beaten track and experience camping as well as high standard accommodation.
In 14 days we drove over 5500 km & in the heart of the Namibian desert at sunrise we climbed to the top of the tallest sand dune called Sossusvlei, we watched surfing dolphins in the Atlantic Ocean, We went fat biking in the beach town of Swakopmund, We drove along the Skeleton Coast to meet the smelly seals of the cape cross seal colony, we went on an amazing 4×4 trip to sandwich harbor the place where the desert meets the ocean, we saw lots of wildlife in the Etosha National Park and we camped under the stars in in the Namibia wilderness.
Our team consisted of a vlogger, journalist, blogger, influencer and a producer. This allowed us to create content for our own audience and also the audience of our partners. In total, we created, a trailer & a three episode road trip video series plus our daily content on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter.
Our new innovative project connected travel and lifestyle brands through social media & video content that was distributed in real time.
We worked together different brands in different ways creating content during and post trip. Chameleon Safari, Oneill, Britz, Taleni Africa, Pangolin Safaris, Sandwich Adventure Tours, Swakopmund Fat Bike Tours, Bootleggers Coffee, Strand Hotel.
